Loganville is a city located in Gwinnett and Walton counties in Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 10,458. It is located 36 miles east of Atlanta in the Atlanta metropolitan area. It is home to several renowned state parks.

Black Rock Mountain State Park
Black Rock Mountain State Park is a 1,743 acre park in Rabun County, Georgia in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The park is named for the sheer cliffs of dark biotite gneiss that surround it. Visitors are welcome to hike or bicycle through the park to explore its natural beauty.
The park’s five hiking trails wind through mountain streams and forests. They also pass 17.9-acre Black Rock Lake. The Tennessee Rock Trail, a 2.2-mile hike through the park’s north slope, follows the Eastern Continental Divide and offers spectacular views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Clingman’s Dome.
Located amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains, Black Rock Mountain State Park is a popular camping spot. Campsites are available only with advance reservations. The state park encourages visitors to practice Leave No Trace principles. This means staying on marked trails, packing out trash, and respecting other visitors. Visitors should be aware of the fact that the park contains rocky summits and waterfalls. They should never try to climb them or get close to ledges.
Located at an elevation of 3,640 feet, Black Rock Mountain State Park is home to the highest state park in Georgia. The park was established in 1952 and originally consisted of a thousand acres. Since then, many more acreage have been acquired. Since then, the park has expanded to 1,743 acres and has added another 300 since 1995.
Cloudland Canyon State Park

Cloudland Canyon State Park is situated on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, on the Cumberland Plateau. The park features deep canyons, waterfalls, and cascading creeks. It is accessible from both Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Alabama.
Bay Creek Park
Bay Creek Park, located at Ozora Road, is an excellent destination for a day of outdoor recreation. Its amenities include a lighted skate complex, ball fields, tennis courts, and a playground. Bay Creek Park also offers wonderful views of the surrounding area. It’s conveniently located near downtown Loganville and is easily accessible from the I-85 corridor. The park is maintained by the Loganville Parks Department.
For families, Bay Creek Park offers a playground and special needs ballfield. There are also seven baseball/softball fields, a football field, and lighted walking trails. The park is also a great place to take a picnic and watch a game.
